What is STEELBYTE? +
STEELBYTE is a student-led technology hackathon for students in Grades 8–12, focused on building, collaborating and presenting technology projects. It's a one-day, in-person event in Jamshedpur.
Who can participate? +
Students in Grades 8–12.
Is this an online or offline event? +
STEELBYTE is a one-day, in-person hackathon in Jamshedpur (JSR) on a date and time that will be announced soon.
Where will it be held? +
Venue: to be confirmed. Date, time and venue details will be announced after final confirmation — don't worry, registered participants will be notified directly.
Can I participate solo, or do I need a team? +
Either. Register solo and the organizing team will assign you to a team, or register with a team name if you already have one (teams can have up to 4 participants).
What do I need to bring? +
Bring your laptop, its charger, and any other accessories, cables or adapters your setup needs. Wi-Fi and charging points will be provided at the venue.
How do I register? +
Use the Register as Participant page. You'll need your details, a WhatsApp number, email, and a recent photo for your event ID.
